Dr. Roshan Abid is a board-certified dermatologist who provides comprehensive medical, surgical, and preventive dermatologic care for patients of all ages.
Dr. Abid earned his Bachelor of Arts in Statistics from Northwestern University before receiving his medical degree from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and Gold Humanism Honor Society. He completed his Dermatology residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics, where he received the Gold Star Patient Care Award and Patient’s Choice Provider Award. Prior to joining Olansky Dermatology & Aesthetics, he practiced with Dermatology Associates of Virginia.
Dr. Abid enjoys caring for both children and adults and values the variety dermatology offers, from diagnosing complex skin conditions to performing surgical procedures. He believes the best care begins by listening to each patient’s story and partnering with them to develop personalized treatment plans.
Outside the office, Dr. Abid enjoys playing basketball, traveling with his wife, and trying new recipes.
